How to Launch Your Neurodivergent Young Adult

You think you want a new job. But really, you want a new life.

We all have a superpower

Mine is the ability to see the strengths in you and hold that vision until you are able to recognize the strengths in yourself.

I didn’t realize how important this was until I was on my own journey to create my ideal career and there were times I had to hold that vision for myself in order to keep going.

i am kathleen

I am Kathleen

I am a midlife coach for women who want to reclaim their vibrancy and excitement about their life which for most women starts with their job.

I am also a board certified psychiatrist and have worked in clinical practice for over 15 years.

Like so many of you reading this now, I got to a point in my life where I didn’t want to only be known for one thing – being a physician.

My identity was so tied to my work, which was hard because I wasn’t very excited about it.

It just didn’t feel like enough.

Even though I was good at what I was doing and had a stable career, I knew it was time for something new, something extraordinary.

I started working with a life coach and realized…

The main thing holding me back from making a change was fear

not all the other things I once blamed for not taking risks

Things like…

They were all reasonable concerns on the surface but underneath them all was fear.

Once I learned how to deal effectively with fear

I never looked back

My life has grown in ways I wouldn’t have thought were possible.

I still have fear, but I don’t let it stop me from having what I want.

The best part – I no longer feel flat and bored in mildlife. I feel vibrant, I am having fun like I did in my 20’s, I feel more connected to the people around me, and I love my job(s).

It didn’t start out that way

I was once where you are now

When I first thought about going for something new I worried that the people around me would think I was having a midlife crisis and would think I was crazy to give up the career I had worked so hard to build and all the prestige that came with it.

And what if it didn’t work out? Then people would really think I was crazy.

I was also skeptical that I would ever find my dream job. Here I was a doctor. That WAS my dream job … or so I thought when I went to medical school.

I was once where you are now

Yet, I kept coming back to what I have always known

That I was meant to do something bigger and that everything I have done has been leading me to this place

So I followed that vision step by step even when I wanted to give up and turn back.

I learned to trust myself and my instincts.

I kept going and here I am.

trust yourself and your instincts too

You can learn to

trust yourself and your instincts too

You don’t have to know what your dream job is right now. We can figure it out together.

I help my clients tell the truth about what they want and what they want to discard – even when it feels scary. Then we dream big together.

You already know more about what you want then you let yourself admit

You just haven’t asked yourself the right questions or allowed yourself to explore the possibilities from all angles.

That’s what I’m here to help you do.

I am here to help you see it more clearly

I help you create the vision of your dream job and hold it until it feels achievable. And I teach you the tools you need to deal with fear along the way so you can have exactly what you want.

I love watching people come alive when they start to imagine what is possible and go after their dreams. It lights me up – the thing that was missing for me.

What will it be for you?
